CLIFFHANGER

Suspended objects, suspended time, suspended conclusions.

General View of Hoxton Hall

5-8 May 2006, Hoxton Hall, London

Through sculpture, video, performance and applied arts our first exhibition explored themes of suspense, from objects suspended in physical space and actions suspended in time to narratives without conclusions.

Specifically targeting unusual venues to take our work outside of conventional gallery spaces, the show took place over four days in the unique setting of Hoxton Hall, a genuine east-end nineteenth century music hall.

On the last day, children from the community art group 'Art for Kids' attended a workshop, where they were assisted to make a short film, based on the theme and artworks of the exhibition.
